Jacket Style Kindle Cover v Kindle Socks?
I tended to always chose leather book jacket type Kindle covers previously. This type of cover made my old fashioned looking Kindle 2 ebook reader seem a little like a real tome. This type of case additionally offered terrific armor to a gadget that was pricey, at around 0.
When i thought about the fact that my my latest Kindle 4 was priced at a far lower , thus can I in actuality justify spending a heap of funds on a swanky leather jacket? kindle 4 cover A quantity of leather Kindle jackets (such as those that have built in reading lights) cost all but as much as the e-book reader itself! Idiotic!
Even if I could (and truly I would not want to!), there was something else to contemplate;
the latest generation kindle readers are in basic terms brilliant to utilize simply as they are!
Personally, i definitely did not desire a sizeable heavy traditional jacket getting in the way. As it is so comfortable to use these undersized e-book readers with one hand that a fitted book style cover would spoil the feel of using the device. Also, with these latest rubberised backs to the Kindle 4 wo-fi these seem much more safe in the hand as they are. Personally, i previously be anxious about losing my grip on my e book reader when using it. Now it is really “grippy” I no longer judge That i want a kindle cover on it everyday “in case I drop it”.
So then, a book jacket variety cover or else a simple sleeve No debate, I bought a great sleeve style Kindle cover!
But, I understand there are instances when a jacket style kindle cover might seem more appropriate:
1. If you would like a book light at hand when using it, but without having to carry about anything too large then you may fancy a jacket style kindle cover which has a reading light in-built.
2. If you love to read “without holding it” like if eating, a flip stand case might be a great buy.
3. If you really miss the experience of reading a “real” paper book, a jacket type case would help you get at least part of that feeling back!
Personally – no debate as it basically had to be a sleeve type of case, and never a book jacket style cover!
